chutney garlic dressing

¼ cup Major Grey’s chutney

½ teaspoon dried hot pepper flakes

2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice

½ cup water

2 large garlic cloves, chopped

½ cup canola oil



Place the chutney, pepper flakes, lemon juice, water and garlic in a tall bowl. With a hand blender blend until smooth. With the motor running slowly add the oil in a steady stream. Blend until emulsified. Season with salt and pepper.


Makes 1 cup
