oven baked bacon

Ingredients:

½ pound bacon

 

Directions:

Heat the oven to 400 degrees. Arrange the bacon in a single layer on a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet. For extra-crispy bacon,  arrange the bacon on top of a wire rack that’s been lightly sprayed with cooking spray set over a foil-lined rimmed baking sheet.

Bake until the bacon is browned and starts to ripple, or to desired doneness, 15 to 25 minutes. (Because the cook time depends on the thickness of the bacon and how you like it cooked, start checking doneness at the 15-minute mark.)

Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.

Serves 2-4
