ahi poke spoons
Ingredients:
18 square wonton wrappers
3 Tbsp melted unsalted butter
8 ounces freshly prepared aki poke
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Cut the wonton wrappers on the diagonal to create two equal triangles. Brush each side with melted butter.
Carefully fold the wonton triangles into mini muffin tins. Each wrapper should look a bit like a bird with a little beak, a belly and two wings in the back.
Bake for 5-7 minutes until just golden. Check often because they burn quickly.
Remove from the muffin tins and cool on a wire rack.
Note- The wonton spoons can be made earlier in the day. Cool completely and store in an airtight container at room temperature.
If the dice of the poke is too large chop the poke into small uniform cubes. This can be done earlier in the day. Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Right before serving spoon a teaspoon of poke into each wonton spoon.
