4 large shortbread cookies

1 pint fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced

1 pint fresh blueberries, picked over

4 T Grand Marnier

1 cup heavy cream

2 T powdered sugar

1 tsp vanilla extract

Equipment: 8 martini glasses



Toss berries with Grand Marnier and let sit at room temperature for 30 minutes to macerate. Stir well before assembling.

Meanwhile break the cookies into large “crumbles”.

Combine the heavy cream with the powdered sugar and vanilla. Whip until soft peaks form.

To assemble: Spoon cookie crumbles into the bottom a martini glass. Spoon berries over the cookies. Drizzle with Grand Marnier juice. Top with a spoonful of whipped cream.


Serves 8
