herb mayonnaise

Ingredients:

½ cup mayonnaise

½ cup sour cream

1 ½ tablespoons chopped fresh chives

2 tsp chopped fresh tarragon

¼ cup chipped fresh Italian parsley

1 tsp dill weed

2 tsp finely chopped shallot

salt and pepper to taste

 

Directions:

Blend all the ingredients in a bowl with a hand blender. Place in a smaller container, cover tightly and refrigerate.

This dip is best made the day before so the flavors can meld. It will keep for several days in the refrigerator.

 

Makes about 1 ½ cups
