avocado sauce

1 ripe medium California avocado, pitted and peeled
2 tablespoon low-fat sour cream
1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
1/4 teaspoon salt 
1/4 teaspoon sugar
¼ + fresh jalapeño, minced



Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Puree with a hand blender until smooth. Add more jalapeño to taste. Season with salt and pepper. Cover and chill.


Makes scant 1 cup
